What data we process
This website has no forms and does not collect personal data by itself.
We process the data you give us when you call us or write to us on WhatsApp or by email (name, contact details and whatever you tell us), and the data of your booking and stay (identification, contact details, dates and the data needed to guarantee and charge the booking).
Purposes and legal basis
To answer your queries, based on your consent and, if you ask about a booking, on taking steps prior to entering into a contract.
To manage your booking and your stay, based on the accommodation contract.
To comply with the legal obligations of accommodation providers, such as guest registration and tax obligations, based on those legal obligations.
How long we keep it
For as long as needed to handle your query or your stay and, afterwards, for the periods required by law.
Who else may access your data
Avirato, which provides the booking engine, processes booking data on behalf of the house.
If you write to us on WhatsApp or by email, those services (from Meta and Google) process your messages under their own terms. This may involve international data transfers covered by the safeguards of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
An automated assistant helps us reply to WhatsApp messages. The text of your messages and the conversation history are stored on a server belonging to the house and sent to Anthropic (Claude), which writes a draft reply, and to Telegram, where a member of our team reviews it before sending it to you. Anthropic and Telegram may process this data outside the European Union, which also involves international data transfers.
The provider that hosts this website may log technical connection data, such as your IP address, for security purposes.
Public authorities, when required by law.
Your rights
You can request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, object to its processing, request its restriction or portability, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to casadabalconada@gmail.com stating which right you wish to exercise.
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
